Aussie Teams Triumph at Pingtung Beach Volleyball Event

Australian beach volleyball teams excelled at the recent Asian Tour event in Pingtung, Chinese Taipei. The event featured 20 men's and 22 women's teams from 13 federations, showcasing exceptional performances from athletes supported by FIVB's Volleyball Empowerment program.

Men's Division Triumph

Australia’s male teams achieved a remarkable sweep of the podium. Ben Hood and Thomas Hodges secured the gold medal, while Mark Nicolaidis and Izac Carracher took silver. D'Artagnan Potts and Jack Pearse completed the sweep by earning bronze. This outstanding performance highlights the remarkable skills and talent within Australian beach volleyball.

Women's Division Victory

In the women’s competition, Australian players Taliqua Clancy and Stefanie Fejes emerged victorious, claiming the gold medal. The Filipino duo, Cherry Ann Rondina and Bernadeth Pons, earned silver, following a hard-fought tournament. Thailand’s Taravadee Naraphornrapat and Worapeerachayakorn Kongphopsarutawadee secured the bronze medal.
