Brazilian Beach Volleyball Team Trains in France's Premier Facility

Brazil's beach volleyball team recently completed an intensive training camp at France's International Centre of Excellence located in CREPS Toulouse. This camp was a crucial part of their preparation for the upcoming Beach Pro Tour Gstaad Elite competition. The facility is part of the FIVB's global International Centres of Excellence (ICoE) network and offered the Brazilian team a comprehensive training experience.

The Brazilian squad participated in daily joint sessions with top French beach volleyball teams. These sessions included:

  • Game-based offensive drills
  • Practice matches
  • Technical meetings

Both teams gained from knowledge sharing and tactical exchanges, which enhanced their skills in a competitive setting. The CREPS Toulouse facility boasts beach courts, a fully equipped gym, medical and recovery services, and on-site accommodation, offering a complete training environment.

FIVB's ICoE Program

This initiative demonstrates the growth of the FIVB's ICoE program, which aims to foster international cooperation and elevate the level of competitive beach volleyball. Teams worldwide, like Brazil's, can benefit from these world-class facilities and expertise through such training camps. This approach not only enhances skills but also builds international camaraderie within the sport.
