Canada achieved a strong result at the fourth stop of the 2025 NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour in Ciudad Madero, Mexico, earning a bronze medal in the women’s division. The Canadian team of Devin Corah from Alberta and Alicia Thibodeau from Quebec triumphed in a closely contested match against Mexico’s Yeray Vidaurrazaga and María Ramírez with set scores of 2-1 (21-18, 17-21, 15-13).
Puerto Rico’s María González and Allanis Navas claimed the gold medal after defeating Mexico’s Susana Torres and Atenas Gutiérrez. Canada also saw success in other matches, with Emma Cudmore and Claire Simmonds finishing in fifth place by defeating Nicaragua in straight sets (21-10, 21-17). In the men’s competition, Dylan Devecseri and Colin Lash secured an eighth-place finish.
