The Czech beach volleyball duo, Marketa Svozilova and Marie-Sara Stochlova, celebrated their first gold medal victory on the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour at the Shangluo Challenge in China. They emerged victorious, claiming the top spot on the women’s podium after a tense final against Ukraine's Valentyna Davidova and Anhelina Khmil.

Despite being seeded 10th, Svozilova and Stochlova showcased unwavering determination by winning all of their six matches. The exhilarating final concluded with a 2-1 scoreline (21-16, 17-21, 15-13) in favor of the Czech team.
