Their campaign at Parc Jean-Drapeau began with a commanding 2-0 (21-15, 21-15) victory over Australia’s Elizabeth Alchin and Georgia Johnson. They followed it with another impressive 2-0 (21-18, 21-12) win, overpowering their fellow Brazilians and current world ranking leaders Thamela Coradello and Victoria Lopes.
This marked performance comes at a critical juncture, as the pair had missed the final stretch of the 2024 season, including three key Elite16 events. Now, fully recovered, they seem poised to chase another podium finish as they head into the elimination rounds.
