Elazar and Cuzmiciov Secure Gold in Krakow Beach Volleyball Tour

Israeli beach volleyball pair Eylon Elazar and Kevin Cuzmiciov delivered a remarkable victory at the Krakow Futures, part of the 2025 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour. Facing off against 28 men’s teams from 18 countries, the duo stood out by earning the gold medal in Poland after five wins in six matches.

Ranked second in the tournament, Elazar and Cuzmiciov overcame a group-stage loss and went on to defeat Denmark’s Mads Mollgaard and Nicolai Houmann in the semifinals. They then topped the top-seeded home team of Jedrzej Brozyniak and Piotr Janiak with a dominant 2-0 win (30-28, 21-14) in the final.

This win represents:

  • Their third medal of the season in Futures events
  • A total of five career podium finishes as a team in the Beach Pro Tour
  • Previous 2025 finishes including gold in Songkhla and silver in Nuvali

The Polish pair Brozyniak and Janiak secured silver, marking their sixth career podium finish, while Denmark’s Mollgaard and Houmann earned bronze—repeating their performance from a recent stop in Cervia.

The Krakow Futures is part of the Beach Pro Tour’s developmental tier, aimed at helping emerging teams make their mark. Competitive play continues with the women’s tournament scheduled for June 12–15 in Krakow, alongside other Futures events taking place in:

  1. Qingdao, China
  2. Jurmala, Latvia
  3. Malmo, Sweden

This evolving podium landscape highlights the increasing competitiveness and global reach of beach volleyball’s up-and-coming talents.
