The 2026 CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship is set to take place from August 12 to 16 in Stare Jabłonki, Poland, marking the first occasion the city will host such an event. This year's championship features 25 men's teams supported by the FIVB Volleyball Empowerment Programme, with participants from countries including Austria, Czechia, England, France, Germany, Israel, Latvia, The Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland, and Sweden.

Competing teams have a continental title as their goal, alongside the prospect of qualifying for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games, ensuring an intense competition. The defending champions, Anders Mol and Christian Sørum from Norway, are aiming for their sixth consecutive European title. Meanwhile, David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig of Sweden, current Olympic and World champions, stand as significant challengers.

The tournament will utilize a single round-robin format, involving 32 teams divided into eight pools. The top three teams from each pool will advance to the knockout stage, which begins with the Round of 24 and concludes with the final medal matches.

This championship provides an opportunity not only to highlight exceptional talent but also to demonstrate the significant progress brought about by the Volleyball Empowerment initiative, which aims to enhance the profile of beach volleyball on a global scale.
