Beach volleyball makes a triumphant return to American shores as Newport Beach welcomes the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Elite16 this week. Marking the first major international event in the U.S. since 2018, the tournament runs from Tuesday through Saturday and features top-tier teams from around the world. It also plays a crucial role in the run-up to the 2025 FIVB World Championship.
Located just south of Los Angeles and approximately 25 miles from the future 2028 Olympic beach volleyball venue, Newport Beach is a strategic and scenic host. This tournament is the tenth stop on the 2025 Elite16 tour, bringing Olympic and World champions to compete along California’s stunning coast.
