Historic Broadcast Deal Brings 2025 Beach Volleyball World Championships to Australia

For the first time in history, the Beach Volleyball World Championships will be held in Australia, with Adelaide set to host the event from 14–23 November 2025. This landmark occasion represents a major milestone not only for Australian beach volleyball but for the entire Oceania region.

Thanks to a partnership between Volleyball World and SBS Australia, the entire tournament will be available to Australian audiences via free-to-air national coverage. Matches will be streamed on SBS On Demand, while select key games—including all matches featuring Australian athletes and every final—will be broadcast on SBS Viceland.

In addition to live matches, viewers will gain access to a variety of exclusive digital extras such as behind-the-scenes features and athlete profiles, offering a more immersive tournament experience.
