Germany’s Jonas Reinhardt and Robin Sowa have secured their position in the main draw of the 2025 Nuvali Beach Volleyball Challenge, part of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour. The pair made it through a tough qualification round held in the Philippines, advancing among eight men’s teams to earn one of the limited main draw spots.
Coming into the qualifiers as the 20th seed in a 24-team bracket, Reinhardt and Sowa showcased resilience and skill. They first took a narrow three-set victory over Canada’s Guillaume Rivest and Tynan Gannett. Following this, the German duo pulled off an upset by defeating Spain’s fourth-seeded Nathan Matos and Pablo Perez in straight sets. These strong showings earned them the 32nd and final entry into the main draw.
Their first match in the main stage will be a challenging one, as they face Austria’s top-seeded pair Christoph Dressler and Philipp Waller in Thursday’s opener.

- France’s Keran Duval and Arthur Canet eliminated the second-seeded Spanish team.
- Belgium’s Kyan Vercauteren and Joppe Van Langendonck earned wins in straight sets.
