Their outstanding performance was as part of the FIVB Volleyball Empowerment program, allowing them to dominate the event by winning every match in straight sets. This magnificent win adds to their already impressive tally, making it a total of 29 gold medals in international beach volleyball competitions.

The Canadian men's team, comprising Samuel Schachter and Jonathan Pickett, celebrated their first podium finish on the Beach Pro Tour by winning bronze. In the women’s competition, Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson also took bronze, reinforcing their prominence on the international stage.

Brazilian teams were formidable opponents, with Andre Stein and Renato Lima claiming the silver medal in the men’s competition. Similarly, in the women's event, Thamela Coradello and Victoria Lopes attained gold, overturning their earlier loss in pool play against Canadian teams.
