The duo triumphed over Gabriel Santiago and Felipe Alves in the only three-set match of the day, with a final score of 2-1 (21-19, 16-21, 15-10).
Having earned their way into Pool E, Pedro and Renato will now face Poland's Michal Bryl and Bartosz Losiak as their opening match in the main draw begins Thursday at 09:00 local time.
