Stam & Schoon Set to Face Quiggle & Loreen in Veracruz Beach Volleyball Showdown

The women's final of the 2025 Veracruz Challenge on the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour will feature a highly anticipated showdown between Dutch pair Katja Stam and Raisa Schoon and top-seeded Americans Corinne Quiggle and Chloe Loreen.

Coming from the qualifiers and seeded 26th, Stam & Schoon have made a remarkable return, especially considering this is Stam’s first major event since recovering from injury. They’ve impressed throughout the tournament by not dropping a single set, culminating in a decisive semifinal win over New Zealand’s Shaunna Polley and Olivia MacDonald.

On the other side of the bracket, Quiggle & Loreen have lived up to their top billing. After defeating fellow Americans Kylie Kuyava-De Berg and Xolani Hodel in the quarterfinals, they booked their place in the final with a commanding win over Allanis Navas and Maria Gonzalez of Puerto Rico.

Navas & Gonzalez will now take on Polley & MacDonald in the battle for bronze. Both teams have shown resilience and standout performances throughout the tournament, each seeking their first Beach Pro Tour podium of the season.
