Thai Teams Triumph in Hangzhou Beach Volleyball Event

Thai beach volleyball teams showcased exceptional skills and achieved remarkable victories at the Hangzhou Futures event on the Beach Pro Tour. The event concluded on Sunday in China with Thai teams securing two gold medals and a bronze, underscoring their prominent position in the sport.

In the men's category, the seventh-seeded duo, Netitorn Muneekul and Poravid Taovato, maintained an unbeaten record, not losing a single set. They triumphed over Iranian qualifiers Abbas Pourasgari and Alireza Aghajanighasab in a thrilling gold medal match. Another Thai pair, Wachirawit Muadpha and Pithak Tipjan, secured the bronze, marking their second consecutive Beach Pro Tour medal.

In the women's competition, Taravadee Naraphornrapat and Worapeerachayakorn Kongphopsarutawadee won their first gold on the tour by defeating the Chinese duo Jiang Kaiyue and Dong Jie in a gripping final. The Chinese teams claimed the second and third positions, thrilling the home fans.

The Hangzhou Futures event attracted 28 men's and 24 women's pairs from 19 federations, showcasing the competition's intensity and broad international appeal.
