Their rise comes after a strategic shift in rankings due to point expirations from last season's events. Germany’s Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann dropped to third, ending their 11-week reign following the loss of points from their Espinho Elite16 performance. Thamela and Victoria maintained their position with 6,820 points, ensuring their takeover at the summit.

The top ten saw further movements, including a major jump from Lithuania’s Monika Paulikiene and Aine Raupelyte who now sit in sixth place. Additionally, three new teams have broken into the top tier for the first time:
