Dominance in the Women's Competition
In the women’s category, Gaudencia Makokha continued her stellar form, teaming up with Phoscah Kasisi to secure their third gold of the tour. The duo were unstoppable, winning all five matches in straight sets. Their final triumph, a powerful 2-0 victory (21-14, 21-05) over Christine King’oro and Abigael Simiyu, was a testament to their synergy and skill.
Key match-ups in the women's division included:
- Makokha/Kasisi narrowly defeating Lorna Mukhongo and Vivian Bor in the semi-finals.
- King’oro/Simiyu overpowering Selina Ngambo and Melany Akoth to make the final.

The men’s tournament brought fresh excitement as unseeded players Richard Amutalla and Sammy Oseko claimed their first title on the tour. They showcased incredible composure and teamwork, defeating Nimrod Kamadi and Wilson Waibei in the final with a close 2-0 (21-17, 23-21) scoreline.
