USA's Torrey Van Winden and Lindsey Sparks claimed their first gold medal of the 2026 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour season with a standout performance at the Geneva Futures. As part of the esteemed Beach Volleyball circuit, the duo has maintained impressive form, consistently securing medals at every international event they've attended this year.

In a thrilling final match, Van Winden and Sparks overcame a significant challenge from Switzerland's Annique Niederhauser and Menia Bentele. The American pair came back from a set down to achieve a 2-1 victory, clinching the gold with set scores of 17-21, 21-19, and 15-12. This milestone victory solidifies their reputation as strong contenders in beach volleyball.

Niederhauser and Bentele, performing on home soil, earned a silver medal, building on their previous success with another podium finish at the Beach Pro Tour. Meanwhile, another American team, Tambre Nobles and Clara Stowell, grabbed the bronze medal after a closely fought match against their Estonian opponents, finishing 2-1 in their favor.

The Geneva Futures event featured 25 female teams from 11 nations, showcasing the global appeal and competitive spirit of beach volleyball.
