Ana Patricia Ramos and Eduarda Santos Lisboa (Duda), the Brazilian Olympic beach volleyball champions, have made a significant return to the top 10 of the FIVB World Ranking. After earning a bronze medal at the Beach Pro Tour Elite16 in Joao Pessoa, they moved up from No. 14 to No. 10. This marks their fourth consecutive podium finish.
The duo previously held the world No. 1 spot for an impressive 101 weeks but dropped as low as No. 57 following a break after the Paris 2024 Olympics. Since their comeback in March 2025, they have steadily improved with dependable performances.
The latest ranking now features three Brazilian teams in the top 10:
- Thamela Coradello & Victoria Lopes – Rank 1
- Carol Solberg & Rebecca Cavalcanti – Rank 2
- Ana Patricia Ramos & Duda – Rank 10
The Joao Pessoa event also caused shifts in other top teams:
- Tina Graudina & Anastasija Samoilova (Latvia) moved into third place alone.
- American duo Terese Cannon & Megan Kraft climbed to fourth.
- Kelly Cheng & Molly Shaw leaped 17 spots to No. 13 after winning gold, a key result in their debut season together.
In the men's rankings:
- Stefan Boermans & Yorick de Groot (Netherlands) rose five ranks to take third after claiming bronze.
- Brazilians Evandro Oliveira & Arthur Lanci moved up to sixth after securing gold.
- France’s Remi Bassereau & Calvin Aye surged to 11th— their best joint rank to date— after earning silver.
As the Beach Pro Tour continues and qualification for the 2025 World Championships heats up, rankings remain dynamic and every tournament increasingly crucial.
