Czech beach volleyball teams thrilled home fans by capturing both men's and women's gold medals at the 2025 Brno Beach Volleyball Futures, part of the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour.
Women's Competition Highlights
The women's duo of Valerie Dvornikova and Michaela Brinkova delivered a flawless performance through five consecutive victories. As the 11th-seeded team, they triumphed in an all-Czech semifinal and clinched gold by overcoming France’s Elsa Descamps and Anouk Dupin in a three-set thriller (27-29, 21-12, 15-12). Estonia’s Heleene Hollas and Liisa Remmelg secured the bronze medal.
Men's Final Performance
Jakub Sepka and Jiri Sedlak dominated the men’s final, defeating compatriots Adam Waber and Matyas Jezek in straight sets (21-13, 21-16). Remarkably, Sepka and Sedlak did not lose a single set throughout their five matches. This victory marks their second tournament win and third overall podium on the Beach Pro Tour. Switzerland’s Florian Breer and Luc Fluckiger took bronze.
