In an impressive showcase of skill, teams backed by the FIVB Volleyball Empowerment initiative dominated the medals at the Tallinn Futures Beach Pro Tour event. Estonian teams shone brightly, taking home the gold medals in both the men's and women’s categories. The men's event was led by Mart Tiisaar and Dimitriy Korotkov, while Eva Liisa Kuivonen and Liisa-Lotta Jurgenson claimed victory in the women’s event.

This prestigious event saw participation from a diverse group of competitors, featuring 28 women’s and 25 men’s teams hailing from 20 different nations. The support from FIVB's Empowerment program played a significant role in the Estonian beach volleyball department's success, offering crucial resources for coaching and equipment. These efforts proved fruitful as Estonia's athletes earned three of the six medals available, including both golds and a bronze.

Austrian teams also performed admirably, securing both silver medals thanks to their FIVB-supported coaching and development initiatives. Meanwhile, Latvia’s duo, Olivers Bulgacs and Marcis Berzins, nabbed the men’s bronze, completing the medal sweep for the supported teams.

The achievements at the Tallinn Futures underscore how focused development efforts can drive success in beach volleyball. The tour continues in Brno, Czechia, and Modena, Italy, from August 27 to 30.
