This gold medal win marked the duo’s fourth career title on the Tour—all coming on home soil—and their seventh overall podium finish. In the final, Evandro led with 19 points, featuring three blocks, while Lanci contributed 16 points and scored two aces.
The French team, who entered from the qualifiers as the 21st seed, earned a hard-fought silver—their first-ever Elite16 medal and second podium appearance after securing bronze in Baden earlier this year.
