Five teams clinched their spots through Wednesday's qualification rounds. Teams from the United States, Argentina, Brazil, and Germany displayed impressive skills to progress to the main draw. They join three high-ranked teams from China and Romania who received automatic entries.
With 32 teams competing in modified pool play, the action begins at 09:00 local time (15:00 UTC). Germany's Chenoa Christ & Sophia Neuss impressed by defeating Brazil's Alessandra Rezende & Priscila Lima. Meanwhile, the USA's Katie Lindstrom & Maria Belen Castillo, as the lowest-ranked duo, upset France's top-seeded pair Marine Kinna & Alex Merle to secure their place.
