Morocco achieved remarkable success at the Arab Beach Volleyball Championship held in Batroun, Lebanon, earning top honors in both the women's and men's brackets. The national team clinched the gold medal in the women’s competition and a silver medal in the men’s, showcasing their growing dominance in regional beach volleyball.
Gold for Moroccan Women
The duo of Mahassine Siad and Imane Yakki delivered a flawless performance by securing six consecutive wins without dropping a set. Their efforts culminated in a commanding 2-0 (21-13, 21-16) win over Lebanon’s Lara Al Nahi and Cheikho Mirna in the championship match. Algeria’s Melissa Soualmi and Hassaine Ikram finished with the bronze.
Silver for Moroccan Men
On the men's side, Soufiane El Gharouti and Anass Saber advanced to the final, where they were edged out 2-0 (21-15, 21-14) by Algeria’s Kallouche Mohamed-Islem and Souadi Mohamed. The Qatari team of Saifeddine Binaziz Elmajid and Assam Ahmed Mahmoud took third place.
