Olympic Star Clancy Returns to Beach Pro Tour with Fresh Partner at Nuvali Challenge

Olympic silver medalist Taliqua Clancy has returned to the international beach volleyball scene, making her debut in the 2026 Beach Pro Tour at the Nuvali Challenge in the Philippines. This significant event features Clancy teaming up with Stefanie Fejes for the first time after a long competitive hiatus since the Adelaide 2025 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship.

The Nuvali Challenge, part of the Beach Pro Tour, is scheduled from May 20th to 24th in Santa Rosa and is in its sixth iteration. It is the fifth Challenge stop of the season and the third occurring in Asia, following earlier events in India and China.

The tournament features a competitive 32-team main draw with a strong field of contenders. Notable entries include USA’s Corinne Quiggle & Chloe Loreen, who top the entry points, along with other accomplished teams such as Lithuania’s Monika Paulikiene & Aine Raupelyte and the American duo Alexis Durish & Audrey Koenig.

Competition Format

The tournament structure begins with qualification rounds, progressing to a main draw with modified pool play, and culminates in knockout rounds leading to the medal matches. With Clancy's presence alongside a mix of experienced Olympians and rising talents, the Nuvali Challenge promises exciting beach volleyball action for enthusiasts and spectators around the globe.
