The electrifying atmosphere of Hamburg's Queen & King of the Court Crown Series culminated in a weekend of spectacular beach volleyball, as Corinne Quiggle & Megan Rice and Alejandro Huerta & Joaquin Bello claimed victory in the tournament’s second 2025 stop.
Quiggle & Rice Seize the Crown
In the women’s final, American duo Quiggle & Rice staged a dramatic comeback. Down by ten points with five minutes remaining, they surged ahead to defeat Austria’s Dorina and Ronja Klinger. The win marked Quiggle’s third career podium in the Queen of the Court format but her first title with Rice. It was a triumph powered by resilience and synergy.
Huerta & Bello Break Through
On the men’s side, Alejandro Huerta and Joaquin Bello emerged as formidable contenders in a tight race. Their victory followed the early exit of Germany’s last remaining pair and required them to hold off competitive teams from Latvia, Chile, and the Netherlands. This marked Huerta’s second win in the format, while Bello celebrated his maiden title as part of the Spanish-English collaboration.
