The 2025 Beach Pro Tour Elite16 is set to ignite excitement in Brasília this week, uniting the world’s top men’s beach volleyball teams for the season’s third Elite-level stop. The action begins on Wednesday, April 16, with eight qualification matches, followed by the 24-team main draw starting Thursday.
Pool Highlights and Key Matchups
Norway’s elite pair, Anders Mol and Christian Sørum, who recently clinched the Saquarema title and are current Doha Finals champions, headline Pool A. Ranked second globally, they will begin their pursuit against a qualifying team. Also in Pool A, Chile’s Marco and Esteban Grimalt face off against Australia’s Mark Nicolaidis and Izac Carracher.
In Pool B, the Argentine Capogrosso brothers—on a strong upswing with silver medals in Rio and Quintana Roo—will engage in an all-Dutch duel against two newly formed Dutch pairs.
Pool C is led by Sweden’s Olympic gold medalists David Åhman and Jonatan Hellvig, who are determined to rebound after a narrow second-place finish at Saquarema.
Pool D will showcase a thrilling clash between U.S. Olympians Miles Partain and Andrew Benesh and Brazil’s defending champions in Brasília, Evandro Oliveira and Arthur Mariano.
