Brazil’s top-ranked beach volleyball duo, Thamela Coradello and Victoria Lopes, have advanced to the elimination rounds at the prestigious Beach Pro Tour Elite16 event in Newport Beach, California, after strong performances in their pool matches.

They opened the tournament with a dominant 2-0 victory over the American pair Hailey Harward and Molly Phillips. Their momentum continued as they edged out fellow Brazilians Talita Antunes and Taiana Lima in a challenging three-set battle, underscoring their consistent form throughout the 2025 season.

Alongside the Brazilian team, Americans Kelly Cheng and Molly Shaw also emerged successfully from Pool C with two wins, setting the scene for an action-packed elimination stage.
