Swiss beach volleyball siblings Zoé and Anouk Vergé-Dépré are setting ambitious goals as they enter their second season competing together professionally. With a rich background in the sport and individual Olympic experience, the sisters officially teamed up for the 2025 season after more than a decade playing alongside different partners.
In their debut season as a duo, the Vergé-Dépré sisters achieved several notable milestones:
- Bronze medals at the Elite16 events in Ostrava and Gstaad
- Gold at the Alanya Challenge
- Silver at the Spiez Futures
However, their World Championship run in Adelaide ended sooner than expected, with a Round of 32 finish. Instead of viewing it as a setback, the sisters regard the experience as valuable for their growth as a new team. Their sibling bond contributes to a unique dynamic—Anouk, 33, serves as the powerful net player, while 27-year-old Zoé covers the court with sharp defensive skills and rapid reflexes.
Key Strengths of the Duo
- Natural sibling chemistry both on and off the court
- Complementary playing styles
- A shared sense of determination and long-term vision
As they look toward 2026, their focus is on consistency and climbing the international rankings. Regular top finishes at FIVB events are among their primary objectives. With their growing synergy and mutual trust, Zoé and Anouk are poised to become one of beach volleyball’s standout teams.
