Seeded 10th, the Australian duo began their day by dispatching Americans Devanne Sours and Madison Shields 2-1 (19-21, 21-19, 15-11). They then overcame Japan’s Ren and Non Matsumoto in another tough three-setter, prevailing 2-1 (16-21, 21-18, 15-5).
Fejes and Fleming will face 18th-seeded Lithuanians Ieva Dumbauskaite and Gerda Grudzinskaite in the semifinals. The Lithuanian pair made a splash earlier in the tournament by defeating top-seeded Australians Taliqua Clancy and Jana Milutinovic.

On the opposite end, Neuschaeferova and Maixnerova cruised through Saturday’s action, including a commanding 2-0 (21-11, 21-15) quarterfinal win over Estonia’s Heleene Hollas and Liisa Remmelg.
