Brazil’s dominance in beach volleyball continues as two of its top women's teams are set to face off in the semifinals of the Hamburg Elite16. This match guarantees Brazil a position in the final, further solidifying the country's reputation in the sport.

Semifinal Highlights

Set for Sunday, the all-Brazilian battle will feature:

  • Top-ranked Thamela Coradello and Victoria Lopes
  • Olympic champions Eduarda “Duda” Lisboa and Ana Patrícia Ramos

Thamela and Victoria showed impressive form, securing straight-sets wins against France's Clémence Vieira and Aline Chamereau, as well as fellow Brazilians Carol Salgado and Rebecca Cavalcanti. Duda and Ana Patrícia had a tougher path, needing three sets to overcome the Czech pair of Markéta Svozilová and Marie-Sára Štochlová, followed by a narrow win over Latvia’s Tina Graudina and Anastasija Samoilova.

The second semifinal will see:

  • Germany’s Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann
  • Italy’s Valentina Gottardi and Reka Orsi Toth

Müller and Tillmann are chasing their third straight podium finish in Hamburg after claiming bronze in 2023 and silver in 2024.
