Swiss duo Nina Brunner and Tanja Huberli have regained the top podium spot at the Hamburg Elite event on the Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour. Competing in Germany, the pair clinched their first gold medal since Brunner's return in 2025. Their victory at the Hamburg Elite adds to their impressive Beach Volleyball Pro Tour medal count, now boasting three golds.

In the final, Brunner and Huberli defeated Latvia's Tina Graudina and Anastasija Samoilova, the reigning world champions, with a 2-0 victory. This match was the Swiss pair’s only rematch of the tournament. Seeded sixth, they finished as runners-up in Pool C after an initial loss to the Latvian duo during the pool stages.

The Latvian team of Graudina and Samoilova earned the silver medal, expanding their collection, which includes three golds and four bronze medals from previous tour events. Finishing in third place, Brazilian athletes Carol Solberg and Rebecca Cavalcanti achieved a significant milestone by capturing their first bronze on the tour, adding to their four golds and two silvers.

The Hamburg tournament featured 28 women’s pairs from 12 nations, highlighting the competitive nature of beach volleyball at this top level. With Hamburg Elite concluded, the Beach Pro Tour shifts its focus to the next event in Montreal, Canada, set for August 19 to 23.
