Victories in Germany
The second leg of the 2025 German Beach Tour in Düsseldorf delivered powerful performances from top-ranked duos. In the women's division:
- Svenja Müller and Cinja Tillmann, current FIVB World Ranking leaders, claimed the title with a 2-0 win (21-18, 21-16) over Sandra Ittlinger and Tabea Schwarz.
- Bronze went to Nele Barber & Melanie Gernert and Anna-Chiara Reformat & Chenoa Christ, who tied for third.
On the men's side:
- Olympic silver medalists Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler secured gold with a straight-sets victory (26-24, 21-12) against Latvia's Kristians Fokerots and Martins Plavins.
- Third place was shared by German pairs Niklas Held & Hennes Jorge Nissen and Robin Sowa & Jonas Reinhardt.
The Netherlands Opens Eredivisie Beach Series
In Nijmegen, the Dutch Eredivisie Beach Series began with local stars leading the pack. For the men:
- Stefan Boermans and Yorick de Groot, ranked world No. 3, triumphed over Alexander Brouwer and Steven van de Velde in straight sets (21-15, 21-19).
- Dirk Boehle and Tom Sonneville secured the bronze medal match.
Among the women:
- Top seeds Wies Bekhuis and Emi van Driel mounted a comeback to defeat Nigella Negenman and Tess Spaansen 2-1 (19-21, 21-13, 15-7).
- Marly Bak and Bjorna Gras clinched third with a 2-0 win over Serena van der Made and Rianne Stok.
