Beach volleyball teams supported by the Empowerment program from Austria, Czechia, and Morocco have attained remarkable achievements in recent zonal competitions, displaying exceptional skill on the sand courts.
One of the notable events was the MEVZA Beach Volleyball Tour held in Bibinje, Croatia. Austrian and Czech duos excelled in the men's category, securing both gold and bronze. The Austrian team of Michael Klemen and Elias Holzinger emerged victorious, clinching the top spot by defeating Luxembourg's Colin Hilbert and Steve Weber in the finals. Meanwhile, Czechia’s Tomas Semerad and Adam Stocek showcased strong performances to secure the bronze medal.
In the women's field, Israeli teams had a remarkable showing, with Daniela Gonzalez and Shiray Danenberg taking gold. The podium was also graced by teams from Hungary and another squad from Israel.
At the CAVB Zone I Beach Volleyball Championships in Kelibia, Tunisia, Moroccan teams exhibited outstanding performance. Oussama El Azhari and Soufiane El Gharouti captured the men’s title, while Oumaima El Mahi and Imane Yakki earned the women’s gold.
