American duo Taryn Brasher and Kristen Cruz celebrated their victory at the Beach Pro Tour Elite16 event in João Pessoa, Brazil. They defeated Brazil's Olympic champions, Eduarda 'Duda' Lisboa and Ana Patrícia Ramos, clinching the gold medal with a straight-set win of 21-16, 21-19.

The eagerly awaited match unfolded at Cabo Branco Beach. Brasher and Cruz maintained their undefeated streak throughout the tournament. This win highlights the Americans' continued dominance on the international beach volleyball scene, as they've finished on the podium in 11 of their last 13 tournaments.

In addition to Brasher and Cruz's success, fellow Americans Kelly Cheng and Megan Kraft secured the bronze medal.
