Carol Salgado and Rebecca Cavalcanti concluded their 2025 beach volleyball season on a high note by clinching the gold at the Itapema Elite tournament, the final stop of the Elite16 Beach Pro Tour. Hosted at Meia Praia Beach in Brazil, the event saw an impressive all-Brazilian podium finish.
The duo overcame a challenging start, losing their opening match against a Lithuanian team. However, they rebounded with six consecutive wins, each in straight sets. Their most dominant performance came in the final, where they swept veteran Brazilian players Talita Antunes and Taiana Lima with an emphatic 2-0 (21-10, 21-10) win.
