Four teams supported by the FIVB Volleyball Empowerment programme achieved podium finishes at the 2025 Ios Futures, a significant event on the Beach Pro Tour held in Greece. Featuring 43 pairs from 22 nations, the tournament was a vibrant showcase of international beach volleyball talent.
Women's Division Highlights
The women’s competition was led by Ukraine’s Inna and Iryna Makhno, who claimed their second consecutive gold medal on the Beach Pro Tour. They triumphed over Greece’s duo, Elisavet Triantafillidi and Dimitra Manavi, in an intense final. France’s Saofe Duval and Marilu Pally secured the bronze medal, further underscoring the growing influence of FIVB-backed athletes in the sport.
Men's Division Achievements
In the men’s category, Belgium’s Gilles and Louis Vandecaveye celebrated their first championship title on the tour, finishing ahead of Spain’s Daniel Moreno and Roberto Sanfelix. Austria’s Robin Seidl and Alexander Huber added to their season achievements by securing bronze, marking their third podium placement of the year.
