Brazilians George Wanderley and Saymon Barbosa have climbed to 24th in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Rankings after an extraordinary performance at the Beach Pro Tour Veracruz Challenge. Their unbeaten run in Mexico awarded them 800 points, of which 500 were added to their ranking total, propelling them from 33rd to 24th position with a new total of 4,220 points.
The victory at Veracruz marked their first team title on the 2025 Beach Pro Tour and also secured their spot in the upcoming FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship.

- Miles Evans and Chase Budinger (USA) – Took silver in Veracruz and moved up three positions to 20th.
- Yves Haussener and Julian Friedli (Switzerland) – Earned bronze and climbed to 31st place.

- Raisa Schoon and Katja Stam (Netherlands) – Claimed gold but still remain outside the top 100 due to limited appearances this season.
