They then followed up with a thrilling three-set win against home favorites Nils Ehlers and Clemens Wickler of Germany in the quarterfinals, with a final scoreline of 21-19, 15-21, 15-9. This semifinal appearance is their best result at an Elite16 event since clinching bronze in Rio de Janeiro in November 2024.
