Their final match saw them defeat Lebanon’s team of Mirna Cheikho and Lara Al Nahi 2-0 to secure the gold medal. Algeria’s duo – Chahla Benmokhtar and Hassaine Ikram – completed the podium with a bronze-medal finish.

In a thrilling men’s final, Oman’s Hood Al Jalaboubi and Ahmed Alhousni delivered an electrifying performance to win gold in three sets against Tunisia’s Adem Elmeddeb and Mohamed Aziz Lenglize.
