Competing as part of Norway's volleyball empowerment program, these siblings exhibited outstanding performance by remaining unbeaten throughout the Wuhan Futures event. They managed to secure a tight 2-1 victory against local favorites Wu Jiaxin & Zhou Chaowei in the semifinals and clinched their gold by defeating another strong Chinese duo, Guo Sihong & Song Jinyang, in the final.

For the women's division, the local duo of Kadeliye Halaiti & Zhou Mingli thrilled the home supporters by capturing their first gold, maintaining a flawless performance until the very end. The Hungarian pair Stefania Kun & Lilla Villam secured silver, while Germany's Elea Beutel & Paula Schurholz claimed bronze. Teams from across 16 different federations showcased their impressive skills in both divisions.
