The Swedish duo, Ahman and Hellvig, showcased remarkable skill and determination, clinching gold by defeating France’s strong team of Daubas and Aye with a decisive 2-0 win. This triumph adds another prestigious accolade to Ahman and Hellvig's career, marking their twelfth gold and nineteenth overall medal on the Beach Pro Tour.

The competition featured robust participation with 29 men’s teams and 32 women’s teams from 22 different countries. Sweden's success highlighted their strategic growth, supported by the FIVB Volleyball Empowerment program, emphasizing the significance of targeted coach support and knowledge transfer in boosting national teams to the international scene.

In the women’s event, the American pair Cruz and Brasher reigned supreme, capturing gold without losing a match. They impressively defeated Brazil's Olympic champions Ana Patricia and Duda, who secured silver in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.
