Swiss Sisters Anouk and Zoé Triumph at Alanya Beach Volleyball Challenge

Swiss sisters Anouk and Zoé Vergé-Dépré achieved a major career milestone by winning their first Beach Pro Tour gold medal together at the 2025 Challenge event in Alanya, Türkiye. The Swiss duo triumphed over Italy’s Valentina Gottardi and Reka Orsi Toth in a thrilling three-set final with scores of 21-15, 12-21, and 15-13.

Rising Success as a Team

This gold medal marks their third podium appearance in just five tournaments since forming a team earlier this year. Their earlier achievements include:

  • Bronze at the Ostrava Elite16
  • Silver at the Spiez Futures

Their Alanya victory underscores their rapid progress and consistency at multiple competition levels.

An Intense Alanya Challenge

Both the Swiss and Italian finalists reached the championship match without losing a set, creating a high-stakes atmosphere at the Beach Sports Center. The Vergé-Dépré sisters demonstrated remarkable composure under pressure, solidifying their status as top contenders on the world circuit.

Milestone for the French Duo

France’s Clémence Vieira and Aline Chamereau also made headlines by securing their first Challenge-level medal. They won the bronze medal match by default after Italy’s Giada Bianchi withdrew due to injury.
