Brazilian duo Thamela Coradello and Victoria Lopes, currently ranked number one in the FIVB World Rankings, are set to lead the women’s field at the Beach Pro Tour Cape Town Elite16, marking the 11th stop of the 2025 season and a significant return of top-tier beach volleyball to African soil.
The highly competitive event, which begins on Wednesday, October 22, follows the Elite16 format with qualification rounds feeding into modified pool play. The top three teams from each pool will advance to the knockout phase, culminating in the medal matches on Sunday, October 26.

Coradello and Lopes will begin their campaign in Pool A, facing a qualifier in their opening match. Their pool also includes:
