Estonian teams showcased exceptional performances at the Tallinn Futures event on the Beach Pro Tour, securing three medals, including both gold medals. In the men's competition, the Estonian duo of Mart Tiisaar and Dimitriy Korotkov emerged victorious, capturing a gold medal by maintaining a flawless record throughout the tournament. Notably, this marked their first gold at a Beach Pro Tour event, having previously secured bronze and silver.
In the women's tournament, Eva Liisa Kuivonen and Liisa-Lotta Jurgenson celebrated their first Beach Pro Tour gold, continuing their unbeaten streak, which highlighted their remarkable resilience. Additionally, another local pair, Heleene Hollas and Liisa Remmelg, claimed third place by winning the bronze match decisively.
Austrian teams also made a significant impact, earning both silver medals in the men’s and women’s events. Oleksandra Shkarupa and Magdalena Rabitsch, along with Laurenz Leitner and Moritz Fabian Kindl, reached the finals following strong, unbeaten performances. Latvia's Olivers Bulgacs and Marcis Berzins rounded out the men’s podium by taking home the bronze medal.
The Tallinn Futures event attracted a total of 28 women’s and 25 men’s teams from 20 federations, offering a high caliber of beach volleyball competition. For enthusiasts, upcoming Beach Pro Tour stops are scheduled for Brno, Czechia, and Modena, Italy, promising further thrilling volleyball action.
