The Montréal Elite Beach Pro Tour is set to be an exciting event, with Canadian beach volleyball stars Melissa Humana-Paredes and Brandie Wilkerson aiming for their third win on home ground. From Wednesday to Sunday at Parc Jean-Drapeau, this tournament is a must-see for fans of beach volleyball.
As the leading Canadian duo, Humana-Paredes and Wilkerson have an exceptional track record in Montréal, winning the last two Beach Pro Tour events in 2023 and 2025, showing their dominance in 12 of the 13 matches they played there. Silver medalists from the Paris 2024 Olympics, Melissa and Brandie are currently ranked ninth globally and are keen to claim their second gold of the Beach Pro Tour 2026, having already achieved success in Ostrava.
However, they will face strong competition from top-ranked teams such as Brazil's Carol Salgado/Rebecca Cavalcanti and Latvia's reigning world champions, Tina Graudina and Anastasija Samoilova.
